Owner and Head Instructor, Jessica Enman, grew up living and breathing hockey - specifically goaltending and has dominated the crease ever since. In the early 2000’s, on the ice during her Timbits practices, she could often be seen wearing street hockey pads over her shin pads, with the gloves to match. In her youth, she played for the Dartmouth Whalers Minor Hockey Association on both girls and coed teams bringing home hardware every year, including a provincial bronze medal with her Peewee AA (U13AA) team in 2004 where she was awarded ‘Tournament All-Star Goalie’. She continued to find success playing for the Nova Scotia Raiders and Atlantic Selects of the Atlantic Hockey Group, winning a bronze medal at the Quebec Bulldogs AAA Challenge up and a silver medal at the Connecticut Polar Bear Holiday Tournament.

In 2004 and 2005, Jess represented Nova Scotia in the U15 Female High Performance Program at the Atlantic Challenge Cup, placing 2nd in 2004 and winning gold in 2005. In the fall of 2005, after a successful campaign at the Andrews Hockey Growth Programs she moved to Port Hope, Ontario to attend and play hockey for the Trinity College School Bears, under the direction and leadership of Head Coach Rick Traugott. It was during this tenure on the varsity team that Jess really honed and finessed her craft, with weekly coaching sessions with esteemed goaltender coach Sandy Sampson of JustGoalie, she quickly became one of the best goaltenders in southern Ontario. The Bears competed in two leagues, CISAA (Conference of Independent Schools of Ontario Athletic Association) and NAPHA (North American Prep Hockey Association) against future Olympians and players who went on to play professional hockey in the PWHL, NWHL and CWHL. Jess found much success in Ontario with regards to hockey, winning a provincial bronze and silver medal at OFSAA (Ontario Federation of Schools Athletic Associations) and numerous other championships over four years. Capping off with a highly coveted ‘Distinction' award for excellence and exceptional achievement and performance in a specific area - hockey. Although, admittedly, she could have (and should have) focused a little bit more on her education and grades.

Upon graduation in 2009, Jess moved back to the east coast. The learning environment of a University did not feel like a suitable option for her at the time so she chose to attend Holland College, obtaining a diploma in Sport and Leisure Management and playing varsity for the Holland College Hurricanes women’s hockey team. Jess later transferred to Acadia University to complete her Bachelor of Kinesiology degree where she played for the Acadia Axewomen’s club team in the Atlantic Collegiate Hockey Association. Concluding her competitive career, the Axewomen were league champions in 2015.

Jess received a Bachelor of Education degree in 2020 from Acadia University and worked as a Physical Education Teacher for four years. Coaching goalies on and off for the past 15 years, she utilizes her experience, skills, and knowledge in both hockey and teaching to help guide goalies to become the best athletes they can be. She has worked as a Goaltender Development Coach with Sackville Minor Hockey for the past 2 years.
